With the rising cost of electricity, Power Conscious will help you determine the running cost of your electrical appliances.
This intuitive application allows you to select from a range of listed appliances which are pre-populated with average consumption usage. However, to determine a more accurate estimation, you may enter the exact consumption of the appliance at your discretion.
Peak and Off Peak rates can be set by using the wheel dial, allowing more flexibility in determining your usage by selection of your reporting period (options include hour/s, day/s, week/s, month/s and year/s usage).
This user friendly application will generate the total duration, usage and cost of running the selected appliance. With this knowledge, you can take control and reduce your electricity bills as well as your carbon footprint.

Electricity 101
Electric usage is measured in kilowatts, your electricity company bills you by the kilowatt per hour (kWh) usage.
1 watt [W] = Amps x Volts
1 kilowatt [kW] = 1000 Watts

Example:
An Air Conditioning split system unit generates an average of 5-8 [kWh] kilowatts per hour, this in watts is 5000-8000 [W].
